Serves: 4 to 6 1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
Note:
2. In a 22 cm pie plate, combine the ground beef, onion, salt, and pepper; mix well and form into a large hamburger patty.
3. Bake for 30 minutes.
4. Remove from the oven and top with the cheese slices.
5. Return to the oven and bake for 5 to 8 minutes, or until no pink remains in the ground beef and the cheese is melted.
6. Place the lettuce leaves over the bottom half of the bread, then top with the burger.
7. Replace the top of the bread, cut into wedges, and serve.
Serve your big burger with your favorite go-alongs, like tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or any combination.
